Single Payment for Personal Health Insurance Ideal if you know the exact length of time that you will need personal health insurance. A single payment can help simplify your purchase of gap coverage. Depending on your state of residence, the minimum number of days you can purchase is 30, and the maximum is 365* days. Monthly Payment for Personal Health Insurance Ideal if you are uncertain how long your need for temporary personal health insurance coverage will be. This "pay as you go" option lets you continue coverage for as long as you need it. You make an initial premium payment for 35, 65, or 95* days and then have the option to continue (up to 365* days), or to stop payments and discontinue the plan whenever your need for temporary insurance ends. If you pay for your short term medical insurance monthly, you may make your initial payment by: Automatic credit card and bank account debit: Each month after your initial payment, your premium payments will be debited automatically from the account number you provided with your initial payment. Your account will be debited each month until you have reached a total of up to 12 months of coverage. If your temporary need ends prior to the 6th month, simply call 800-800-5453 and we will stop the automatic debit.
